Projects & Programme
Child poverty and inequality in Mongolia requires a multidimensional approach. Poverty is rampant
in Mongolia, with 36% of the population living below the poverty line and there is an evidence to
show that children from lower income households are disadvantaged in relation to a wide range of
different outcomes. Notably, children from poor households do less well in school as there are
thousands of children who are deprived of an opportunity to learn.
Since 2022, Children’s Hope Mongolia in-collaboration with School in a Bag has started providing school bags and supplies to poor,
orphan, vulnerable and disadvantaged children here in Mongolia. School in a Bag is one of the respected UK based charity distributing School supplies to disadvantaged children around the world. Together with School in a Bag UK, we shall continue providing school supplies to disadvantaged children here in Mongolia and it will provide children vastly improved learning capabilities, hope and a lifeline to a future out of poverty here in Mongolia.
